was born in Monticiano (Siena) on 28th May 1962 from Ida Raimondo, housewife, and Bruno Pizzichini, mural decorator.

His father from a tender age steered his son towards the profession and followed him closely tracing his artistic itinerary even though his early death prevented him from savouring the fruits of such labours.

 

He graduated with full marks from the Institute of Siena (1981) and distinguished himself as one of the best students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence (1985). 

He began his professional activity very early attaining significant national prizes and receiving assignments from banking institutes and private clients.

He deepens the themes of his pictorial researches with frequent journeys abroad which are then followed by an intense relationship with the different cultural surroundings. But despite this, he has not alienated himself from his native city which is Siena and her countryside.

Periodically, he verifies his pictorial researches with exhibitions. He argues polemically in silence or better still after some time has elapsed with the other fanatics of his generation, always inclined to experiment with amazement the many openings of the pictorial language.
